The company's fishmeal plant began operations in December 2004 in the Inlay Myaing Industrial Zone, Myeik mountain village, Tanintharyi region, producing 20 tons of fishmeal per day. In June 2010, the plant was expanded to produce 85 tons of fishmeal per day.
The material for the fishmeal is primarily sourced from small marine fish caught by the company's fishing vessels, with supplemental fish purchased from local fishing boats. The fishmeal is sold in domestic markets as well as being exported to Thailand, China, and other countries.
The steam and odors from the plant are pumped through a multistage deodorizing spray system before being released.
